Are you an artist? Do you need a place to showcase your artworks? We are looking for artists from all over the world to contribute to our next Issue #1 of LONGITŪDINĒS Magazine. Discover further details by reading this call for artists.
What is LONGITŪDINĒS?
LONGITŪDINĒS is a multilingual and independent magazine for creative writing, literary translation, and the arts, with annual print editions and exclusive online content. The magazine is a receptacle for international voices and publishes artworks, along with fiction, poetry and drama in any language.
LONGITŪDINĒS is home to literary and artistic expressions that cross geographical, political and conceptual boundaries and transforms them into opportunities for cultural contact and dialogue.
Print editions are strictly multilingual and feature texts in their original languages, interviews, essays and visual art. Translations into other languages are published online on our website.
What artworks can you submit to our call for artists?
There are no set themes and we are looking for visual artists for all kinds of media: painters, calligraphers, illustrators, conceptual artists, decorative artists, ceramics artists, photographers, sculptors, multidisciplinary artists, etc. Your work should be submitted in a high-quality format (pdf, jpeg or tif accepted), 300dpi and CYMK.
Please send your work to email@example.com by 10th May 2021 and include:
- your full name;
- a short presentation of your project;
- a short biography plus your website portfolio or Instagram to get to know you;
- and yes, you can partecipate in pairs or as a collective!
The art editors of the editorial board of LONGITŪDINĒS will evaluate submissions, and artists should expect a response within three months from the date of their submission.
